Service Solutions Group
provides service and parts for commercial foodservice equipment and HVAC systems in hotels, schools, hospitals, company cafeterias and, of course, restaurants.

In 2007, we recognized a unique opportunity to support McDonald’s, one of our most valued customers, and developed a custom program called TECH. In collaboration with McDonald’s U.S. Equipment Systems, we ran a pilot program in the Ohio Region. The pilot was independently monitored by McDonald’s to ensure we rolled out a program that provides measurable results and exceeds McDonald’s expectations. The results speak for themselves, and continue to provide substantial benefits over time. Post-pilot surveys and McDonald’s data indicated that the stores who participated in the TECH Program experienced:

  • Reduced reactive service costs
  • Lower utility costs – saving energy
  • Improved kitchen equipment performance
  • Less downtime – 90% first-time fix rate

Through the TECH Program, we provide a high level of expertise in the repair and maintenance of McDonald’s electric, gas, electronic, steam and refrigeration equipment and HVAC systems in various markets. The program will be gradually rolled out nationally over the next several years.

Because of the success of our Ohio pilot, Service Solutions Group was invited to participate in the national HVAC service program pilot in Arizona, California and Ohio. While it just began in May 2009, we have already received very positive reviews on our performance.

Service Solutions Group was created in 2004 through the merger of three regional service companies that were nationally recognized for excellence. All three platform companies had a long history of serving their local markets, the youngest company having done so for 27 years.
